Seeking Railbike Intern

Revolution Rail Co. is seeking dynamic, energetic interns who are eager to learn about Revolution Rail Co. and the tourism and recreation business. The interns will assist in various areas such as customer experience, online booking systems, point of sale (POS) software, employee scheduling, and guided railbike tours. They will work closely with our team to manage a station and over 20 part-time railbike guides (location dependent).

Ideal candidates will have some experience (not required) in both outdoor excursions and office skills. The ability to learn, a good disposition and strong work ethic is more important than previous experience. Interns who display skills and the ability to learn and contribute will have the opportunity to develop and grow with a rapidly expanding national organization.

Intern Responsibilities:
● Fulfill relevant tasks set out by intern’s supervisor.
● Gain hands-on experience of crucial aspects of the industry, including online booking systems, point of sale (POS) software, and employee scheduling software.
● Work with ownership to understand and develop strategies and initiatives geared toward national growth aspirations.
● Assist with management of a station and over 20 part-time railbike guides.
● Perform research at a supervisor’s request.
● Participate in marketing campaigns.
● Have FUN!

Intern Requirements:
● Love of nature and being outdoors.
● Valid Driver’s License.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak in front of large groups.
● Strong computer skills.
● Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks at a time.
● Work well in a busy and dynamic work environment.
