CHEESE PLANT ASSISTANT
Nettle Meadow Farm and Cheese Company is looking for a cheese plant assistant for our cheese plant in Lake Luzerne. We need help caring for, and wrapping, packing, shifting, turning, pouring, and boxing all the cheese and cleaning equipment. This is a great entry to mid-level position to learn everything about the world of cheesemaking at Nettle Meadow. Flexible shifts and year-round work. You will have the opportunity to work with a great group of people and really expand your knowledge of the art of cheesemaking while working with some great cheesemakers. PART-TIME AND FULL TIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE. FLEXIBLE HOURS. GOOD TRAINING WAGE AND CONSISTENT WAGE INCREASES. THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE.
We are looking for someone who can mix cheese into cups, pack it and apply labels and box it. This is a Part-time or full time position. Good Training Wage and consistent wage increases.
We are looking for a PART TIME or FULL TIME equipment cleaner for our cheese plant in Thurman New York. We need help cleaning equipment and adding milk to tanks and cleaning cheese moulds. This is a great entry level position. Daytime shifts and year-round work with AN EXCELLENT TRAINING WAGE and pay raises dependent on proficiency and knowledge. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and a strong back able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly at times are required.
We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress/Bartender Thursday through Sunday for our Iconic restaurant in Lake Luzerne. Busy summer and autumn season with lots of customers and activity. Open year round. Excellent waitstaff wages and tips.
We are looking for a Bus Person Thursday through Sunday who can bring waters to tables, pick up dishes and bring them back to the dish station, help with dish washing, set tables with clean plates and silverware. Good wages and tips.
FARM HAND WANTED FOR THURMAN FARM SANCTUARY
Nettle Meadow Farm in Thurman NY is also looking for someone with a strong back, serious work ethic and a deep respect for animals to work as a Farm Hand. We have a herd of over 100 sanctuary animals who require feeding, cleaning, watering and periodic barn and fence repairs. Main duties include cleaning barns and feeding and watering animals. Three to Five Days per week. Hours are 8 – 4. You’ll need a good attitude, heavy lifting capacity, and a willingness to work hard and independently in this position. Good pay and steady year-round work.
