Now Hiring Membership Manager

The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce (ARCC) is currently hiring for a Membership Manager position. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and focused individual to join our team. Please see the details of this position below:

POSITION TITLE: Membership Manager (Full-time)

REPORTS TO: President & CEO

SALARY RANGE: $32,000 – $45,000 base, plus commission

BENEFITS: Health insurance, and 401K

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce Membership Manager will manage all aspects of Chamber Membership sales, including prospect development, new member recruitment, retention, and outreach. In addition, the Membership Manager will facilitate and act as staff liaison for assigned councils/committees.

Job Responsibilities

Membership Sales & Retention:

  • Schedule outreach visits/meetings to enhance membership retention efforts
  • Support the collection of membership dues via phone calls or email to help with retention
  • Track and report sales prospecting, outreach, retention, and closed sales
  • Report membership updates, at monthly ARCC Board of Directors meetings
  • Encourage and motivate members to renew their membership investment with the ARCC
  • Schedule and execute ribbon cuttings – includes, but not limited to, invitations and speaking at events
  • Assist in providing backup for answering phones, member services, and responding to inquiries/requests
  • Assist in setting annual goals for membership
  • Represent the ARCC at various functions as required by the President & CEO
  • Other duties as assigned by ARCC President & CEO

Councils & Committees:

  • Acting liaison for Workplace Health & Wellness Council – facilitate monthly meetings
  • Facilitate monthly ARCC Chamber 101 meetings
  • Facilitate monthly Ambassador meetings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience in sales, retention, and relationship building
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
